Every boat in Altea was like a small home where the sailors lived. In the middle of their hard work they also had their moment of peace at lunchtime. Then one of the sailors, according to the Mediterranean tradition and the ingredients he had, made a miracle happen. So, “cruets”, octopus stews, salted… has travelled aboard the Altea boats.
Both customs are part of the pillars of altea’s cooking. Lay the table to enjoy of this multicultural gastronomic experience.
