Espigó Beach

We find it at the mouth of the river Algar. It is a gravel and pebble beach and has a blue flag.

Its waters are very clean and calm and it connects with the Cap Negret beach. It’s near the town center and it has all the services of restaurants, shops, hammock rental, infrastructure …

It is located in the most central area of Altea and the promenade that runs through it is full of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy Altea gastronomy: paellas, fish, varied tapas and everything you want close to the sea.

Altea has 6 kilometers of coastline with wonderful beaches such as L’Olla, Solsida, Cap Negret, Albir, Cala del Mascarat or La Roda, and cliffs overlooking the sea… The Mediterranean bathes Altea, a town with a lot of charm, in light.

The beaches of Altea are not usually overcrowded, they are quiet and in them you will find the disconnection that you need. You can stay in one of the fantastic hotels that you will find very close to them, or you can choose another type of accommodation such as campsites or apartments.
