The Kitchen of the Boats, gastronomic events

Ten restaurants are participating in the 2nd edition of the gastronomic “Kitchen of the Boats”, organized by the departments of Commerce and Tourism. The initiative will take place in Altea from 22 June to 1 July. This was announced the mayor of both areas, Alvado Anna, who highlighted the quality and variety of menus offered by each of the outlets.

Participants in this second edition of “The Kitchen of the Boats” are blue, rice and grilled; Gastro Lounge by Blue Beach Altea Cap Negret Hotel; Bon Vent, Club Nautico Altea; Reeds & Coffee; Olleta Bar; La Buena Vida; La Palapa, SH Villa Gadea; The Picaeta Lola; Marlin and Toni corner. The price menus ranging between 25 and 37 €. “Participants are restaurants, most of them established and widely recognized cuisine that produce and good work”; Alvado has apostilled.

“This is a day that is successful and this year has increased the number of participants,” said the municipal head of Trade and Tourism, who said that “the four gastronomic events organized by the Department of Commerce, I this is the gastronomic excellence. You can see the quality of menus that have made the restaurant and restaurateurs participating in the conference. “

Anna Alvado thanked the participation of restaurants, the work of the coordinator of the initiative, Tent José Maria Torres and collaboration; and encouraged the population living in the region Altea and enjoy this second edition of “The Kitchen of the boats.”

For his part, José Mª Tent has revealed that, as in previous editions, there will be prizes for participation, both for institutions and for the people. Specifically distributed prizes to the two best restaurants participating, the score will issue their own customers evaluating various aspects like the taste of the menu, presentation of dishes and the service received. Once the conference will count the points and awarded two prizes, the first one consisting in a visit to Bodegas Torres and the establishment of advertising and publicity in a second.

As for the awards diners are drawn two checks of € 100 to spend on local businesses and five cases of wine courtesy of Bodegas Torres.

In the presentation of the conference were also present Cristian Garcia Hotel Villa Gadea; Antonio González, cane & Coffee; Nacho Perez restaurant Blue; José Ignacio Sánchez Rincón de Toni; Michel Vanstechehman Good Life; Such Ximo Club Nautico Altea and Carlos García Torres, representative of Bodegas Torres, who thanked the invitation to participate in the initiative; Altea highlighted as one of the most important of Alicante cuisine and stressed the importance of supporting the traditional cuisine of the municipality.
