The gastronomic days of the ‘Ruta de la Tapa’ return to Altea from 12 to 21 May. These gastronomic days, in which 12 establishments in the town will be taking part, will showcase the area’s renowned agricultural products in the spring with their tapas proposals.
Tapas will be priced at 4 euros, including drinks. Each establishment will prepare two tapas, one with zero-kilogram and seasonal ingredients and the other plain.
As for the prizes for the establishments whose tapas are most highly rated by the locals, they will receive €200 for the best compulsory tapa and free publicity; €200 for the best free tapa and free publicity for one year. As a novelty this year, another prize has been included, for the most original tapa, which will also have a €200 prize and free publicity for one year.
The participating establishments are: El Cantó del Palasiet, Bon Vent, restaurante del Club Náutico de Altea, El Carnicero Loco, La taberna marinera El Barba, Mana lounge beach, E-Tika, Plan B, Ca Raulet, Bar L’Ancora, Best Friends del Club de Tenis, La Clau i Bar Cafetería Ángela.
