The Councilor for Commerce and Tourism, Ana Alvado, CEAM welcomed the attendees of the 7th edition of the “Mediterranean Hospitality” held in Altea. These workshops are organized by Turismo Valencia and taught by Andrés Mínguez, academic coordinator of the Program of Mediterranean hospitality.
As the mayor explained, “Altea is one of the municipalities that has made hospitality workshops, this being the seventh. The aim of this conference is to make hospitality a differential value compared to national and international tourism market and Altea is positioning itself as one of the most hospitable of Valencia. “
Andrés Mínguez started the day thinking what are the characteristics necessary to highlight the Mediterranean hospitality. The lecture is divided into three objectives: the need to create awareness about the potential of Valencia as a tourist destination; the enhancement of our style of service distinguish spontaneous Valencia as a destination hospital.
Anna Alvado stressed that “I am proud of the commercial sector and tourism in our town, for having supported the inclusion of this value in its tourist offer, which is the end of Altea. From the Department of Trade and Tourism, we are committed to this project from the beginning, as we believe this is an important value to consider in our daily lives, especially if it is linked to tourism. We look for a profile tourist quality, understood as the people were respectful of our customs, our environment and our idiosyncrasies, thus, we must respond in the same way, with quality being friendly and hospitable people who visit us. ” Finally, the councilor thanked the attendance of all the people, and to the west Andrés Mínguez.
