Last weekend saw the nineteenth Pata Negra Trophy Club Nautico Campomanes. The Councilor for Tourism, Alvado Anna, attended, representing the City of Altea, at the start of the race, which took place on 8 December and the awards ceremony on Sunday 9th.
The boat was the winner of ITAC RCN Calpe, in second place was the Kalamandurrio CN Altea and thirdly the boat, Marina Greenwich Campomanes CN.
The mayor emphasized the importance of holding such events for our town, ” this race, like the other taking place in Altea, sailing events are very prominent for our economy and the image we want our town. With these tests encourage sustainable water sport and therefore attract this type of tourism that respects the environment, which is our priority. ”
