The Departments of Tourism and Environment have announced a series of guided kayak tours around the Bay of Altea. These leisure activities will take place on 10 August and 24 August (Morro Toix route) and on 17 and 31 August (L’ Olla Island and Cala del Soio route). The meeting point for the activity will be at the facilities of the company La Bocana Sailing Point, in the Marina Greenwich Marina. These visits have a maximum capacity of 24 people and are focused on disseminating the preservation of the natural heritage of Altea.
The aim of the visit is to inform, raise awareness and educate beach users about the ecosystems and sensitive natural areas within a radius of 2 km from the beach and encourage them to learn about the environmental, cultural and tourist values of this environment, to act and relate to it in a responsible manner.
The timetable for the activity will be from 10:30 to 13:00. The organisation informs that people should arrive 15 minutes beforehand. The Tourism Department reminds that the following equipment is required for the activity: swimming costume, booties, cap, sunscreen or suitable clothing to protect you from the sun and water.
