Culture in Altea

Altea has a varied cultural offer, not in vain it has established itself as the cultural and artistic capital of the Costa Blanca. You can find Art Galleries, both public and private. The Palau Altea has a capacity of a thousand seats and belongs to the Spanish Theater Network, offering a very attractive program.

Outdoor concerts such as “Nits al so de l’aigua” or the “Route of the Hermitages”, along with the exhibitions of contemporary crafts, the “Balconadas”, the Library, the Conservatory of music and much more, complete the cultural offer of Altea.

The magic of this charming town with white houses, bathed by the blue of the Mediterranean Sea, has been a source of inspiration for bohemians and artists since always. Now, it is also for many students who opt for the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Miguel Hernández University in Altea.
