The Impulsa Igualdad association, in collaboration with the Altea City Council and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, promotes training in tourist accessibility, promoting the creation of inclusive experiences adapted to all people.

The training day was structured in two sessions: in the morning theoretical training aimed at professionals and companies in the tourism sector, accompanied by a practical workshop in which wheelchairs, masks and canes were used to experience first-hand the barriers that people with different accessibility needs may encounter.

In the afternoon, the training was open to anyone interested in expanding knowledge about accessibility, through a workshop to approach tourism and raise awareness about inclusive culture. During both sessions, essential content was addressed, such as the principles of accessible tourism, current regulations, the evaluation of environments and services, and the implementation of measures that facilitate the full participation of visitors with different accessibility needs.

The day ended with an accessible concert, which highlighted accessibility in the cultural field and offered a participatory experience for all citizens.
